jchambers2586
I have had a hell of a time with bad had drive this week I bought a western digital caviar blue 320GB hard drive it lasted un til a week ago it would spin but nothing would happen. I called WD up and they sent me another drive I bluged it in and it starts and stops constantly. Should I be looking at the new corsair power supply I just bought? or is the drive truly DOA.
Wired
There's too little information to know. If no other HW in your rig has any issues, then it's either a bad HDD, which would be my guess because RMA'd HDDs are usually refurbs, or possibly a bad power cable. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 10, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 10, 2009 The voltages are well within spec. It is possible that there is a short elsewhere that is cause these problems with your drive.
