kdaifoti
I own an 8GB Survivor GT drive and even though I delete files from the drive, it doesn't appear to clear space available for new files to be stored. It shows a capacity of 7.7 GB, available space of 290 MB with 7.4GB used on the disk. This is inconsistent with the fact that I only have files on the drive that take up 1.4 GB. Given that, I would think that I should have 6.3 GB of capacity remaining. Every time I add a file it constantly reduces my available space on the drive. Even after deleting files, the available space does not move. Any help on how to resolve this would be appreciated?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 7, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 7, 2009 You will need to go to your recycled Bin and empty the bin with the drive connected to completely remove the files or format the drive to keep is free.
