bob2244 Posted April 26, 2004 Share Posted April 26, 2004 Hi im just wondering if different revisions of ram work together I currently have 1 CMX256A-2700LLPT V1.1 or v1.2 and I have just recieved my RMA return from you guys which is 1 CMX256A-2700LLPT v2.2 1 CMX512-2700LLPT v2.2 Motherboard is MSI KT4V-L Does this make any difference? Robolf Posted April 26, 2004 Share Posted April 26, 2004 cant u just try them? people have had mixed results with mixing revision, i myself have had no problems, but i doubt corsair have got a huge table of all the computations of ram revisions that work together. only way to find out is to try. In addition, single modules are guaranteed to run at the tested settings one up only. And only Twinx set would be guaranteed to run 2 up and only on a approved platform.
