shmerl
I tried to use 16 Gb Corsair Flash Voyager with OpenSolaris 2009.06 and it doesn't work. iostat -En produces the following: c9t0d0 Soft Errors: 0 Hard Errors: 0 Transport Errors: 12 Vendor: Corsair Product: Flash Voyager Revision: 0100 Serial No: Size: 0.00GB Media Error: 0 Device Not Ready: 0 No Device: 0 Recoverable: 0 Illegal Request: 0 Predictive Failure Analysis: 0 (c9t0d0 doesn't appear in /dev/dsk ). Did anyone encounter similar issues? The flash drive works fine on other machine, the USB port works fine with other devices, and actually on this machine the LED on the flesh memory blinks few times when it's booting so it's being red, but when the system is up - there are problems (may be drivers etc.). Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 28, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 28, 2009 Let's get it replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it. But if you still have the same issue with the new drive I would suggest you contact Solaris for updated drivers.
shmerl
There is no need to replace it - the flash drive works fine on other systems. I wrote to OpenSolaris help forum too. This is probably something to do with OpenSolaris drivers. Just asked here may be someone already experienced a similar issue.
