dbag93
Hello, i get bsod all the *** time, it started a month ago with 1 bsod every day. and as the time went i got it more recently. now i cant be on the computer more than 10 minutes at top before i get one. its almost the same which is 0x000000124. Now i have tried to use one ram stick, in every single slot and i dont even get to log in before i get 0x00000009C. I've runned memtest86 for each memroy stick and it was no error. this is making me very frustrated!!
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 24, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 24, 2009 From searching on Google it would seem that Stop Error 0x000000124 is or maybe related to a driver issue with your Video Card try searching for the error at http://www.microsoft.com/technet. And searching for the other error seems to suggest a Error in the CPU if the memory is passing http://www.memtest.org. Reference Microsoft kb/329284 Bulletin I would suspect that what ever is causing the STOP: 0x0000009C may be causing the other errors.
dbag93
Well the 124 error make sense, but ever since i tried to switch the rams i got the 9c before the log in screen :(. i got 2x2 800 mhz (4gig) and 2x2 1066(4 gig). ive tried one and one, two and two, one at a time and every possible combination but still, it will get down to a 9c bluescreen. now i got a "Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" 0x0000000D1 ataport.sys -address 8BC88C9C BASE AT 8BC81000, Datestamp 47918f74 i also ran memtest now, now i got errors. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 24, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 24, 2009 What test are you getting errors on and with have problems with Different memory that would tend to suggest it is some other issue not the memory. I would suggest using a known working system to test the memory.

dbag93
so,i have googled a lot and found out that someone cured this issue with disabling C1E and cache in bios. but i have no idea how, any help?
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 28, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 28, 2009 That would suggest a BIOS and or CPU Issue, as I suggested previously I would strongly suggest testing the memory in a known working system to be sure.
