Welles
There is a poster on the Apple Discussions who is warning not to purchase a Corsair SSD as there is no capacity for applying a firmware update. I wondered is this was mis-information or at least a misplaced concern or whether it really was a potential problem? Thanks! Welles
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 24, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 24, 2009 More than likely it was posted by someone who is a competitor or was miss informed. We do not have any firm ware updates as there are none to publish, when and if there is a update we will post it if its needed.
Welles
Thanks RAM Guy. Nothing like going directly to the source for facts! PS I went back to that thread on the Apple Discussions and tried to set the record straight.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 24, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 24, 2009 Some of the other SSD Manufacturers have had several Firmware updates and we elected to stay away from controllers that were problematic and use only flash and controllers that were more compatible.
