CTUEdger
Exia, What brand (APC, Tripp Lite, etc) and model of UPS are you using? Have you tried to unplug your PC from the UPS and directly plug it into the electrical outlet? I am wondering if your UPS is underpowered for your PC while it is under full load. Do you use your PC for gamming as this will put a good load on the UPS and if the UPS is underpowered, it could potentially cause issues? Please let us know and be as specific as you can. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 21, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 21, 2009 I have seen some motherboard needs "warm up" or discharge before it can power on again. If you encounter this problem next time, don't turn off the UPS or PSU, just unplug the 24pin cable and short out the green to anyone of the black wires. If the PSU turns on, then most likley it is a motherboard issue.

I am glad to see you used an appropriate sized UPS. RAM GUYS suggestion seems good. I do remember, now that RAM GUY mentioned it, having your issue with a particular MB in the past, although it's been some time ago. If I remember correctly, in my case anyway, I ended up replacing the MB. If this does turn out to be your issue and if your MB is still under warranty you should be able to RMA it back to ASUS, or the place of purchase. Please let us know. EDIT:"okie i just reconnected my corsair HX620 and now there seems to be another problem when i touch or even move the 24 Pin connector wire the computer just restarts....!!!!!
