Compaq CQ50-215NR w/ VS4GSDSKIT667D2

I recently purchased the VS4GSDSKIT667D2 4GB kit for may laptop. Until this week, I have been able to use the the memory in my Compaq. I have downloaded, and ran the MemTest86 application with the memory installed. I have attached a screenshot of the results.

 

Note: I have already updated the BIOS, and I have restored the system defaults.

 

Has anyone had the same issue with the Compaq CQ50-215NR?

 

Please advise on the next steps for troubleshooting and/or RMA.

If you believe the memory to be faulty then let's get them replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”

 

If you want to be sure that a replacement set will resolve the issue then I would test each memory module one at a time and make sure you can isolate a single module which is causing the issue. If both modules give you the same results then there is likely some other problem.
