magicrx8 Posted July 19, 2009 Share Posted July 19, 2009 I have a Dell XPS 435MT I installed a HX520W but it wont power up i can see the little amber light on the motherboard but when i push the the power button the light goes out then comes back on but nothing else happens. the old power supply worked fine i tested the hx520w and the fan turns on the lights in the room start flickering and i can here a very faint ticking noise coming from the psu.
