cichy1012
Ok ive tested each stick one at a time. Out of 3 sticks of ram I can clear over 200% in no time. On one stick it takes forever.............like 20 mins to reach 100%. Im not showing failure on them though. But when they are all in the slots I get memory test errors right off the bat. Even before it seems to start. Then I tells me something about bad pairs or something. I keep getting Bsod's Can anyone tell me what settings I should have in my Cmos to troubleshoot this. thanks for any help.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 20, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 20, 2009 In this case if each stick passes on it own then this would indicate this is a memory controller issue. When you populate all four Dimm slots you over stress the memory controller. Try lowering the Memory Frequency to 667Mhz and see if this clears up the issue. =)
