Saroj
The configurator on the Corsair site does not list the model of the Dell Precision that I have; however the configurator on the NewEgg site shows that I can use: Corsair 1GB 240-pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) Desktop Memory Model VS1GB533D2 However I want validation from Corsair that this is accurate since the 370 is NOT listed in the configurator. I have 4 slots; one with 512; 2 with 256; 1 empty; so seems I have 2 options: (A) replace all current modules with 4 of the above giving me 4 GB of memory. (B) retain the 512; dispense with the 2x256 modules and install 3 of the above giving me 3.5GB. I have no idea how to assess the revision issue which I wasn't even aware of until reading through this forum. Which option is viable or optimal? or is neither since my Dell Precision 370 is not listed?
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted July 13, 2009 Corsair Employee Share Posted July 13, 2009 The information is accurate however we no longer manufacture that part is why it is not listed on our site. The reseller may have stock and if so would run great on your system.
