style
Hi, I just replaced my old powersupply with a TX750w and when I boot up my computer it will randomly shut off. It never gets to the windows loading screen before it shuts off. Any ideas please?...
Synthohol
cpu fan unplugged by accident? or a missed connector on the MB? i know those are obvious checks but sometime with expensive toys we tend to miss them.
style
I figured it out, I ran one of the power cables kinda tight in the back of the case and it was squished. I took it out and let it hang instead and it works fine now. Kinda ugly just hanging in the middle of the case but atleat now it works.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 13, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 13, 2009 check all the connections. If it is possible test the old PSU in the system again. If the old PSU works, then use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”
style
Problem solved, I used the stock heat sink with my I7 because my old one didn't fit. I do not OC but it still couldn't keep the temp down so I went out and got the coolermaster v8 (very hard to put into an antec coolermaster case btw). The PC is running fine now, thanks for your suggestions.
