grizzuk
Hi just started getting endless vpu errors on my comp even in windows. i've tried the graphics card in another comp and it seemed fine no lockups at all in an hours use, that was on a lower spec psu :(: temps are around 49c idle and 55 under load. i've tested the mem and that is fine. can the psu be the cause of any of these problems. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 8, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 8, 2009 Does it work in Windows safemode? What are the voltage readings in the BIOS. I would suggest you to install the latest drivers first.
grizzuk
i can get vpu errors even after booting to windows latest drivers are installed if you don't think it's psu related i can always buy a new graphics card :D: if i look in bios the only thing it says about voltage is OK not sure if this is any use but i'll post it anyway just in case ITE IT87 hardware monitor Voltage sensor 0 1.14 Volts [0x47] (CPU VCORE) Voltage sensor 1 2.11 Volts [0x84] (DDR) Voltage sensor 2 3.33 Volts [0xD0] (+3.3V) Voltage sensor 3 4.81 Volts [0xB3] (+5V) Voltage sensor 7 12.22 Volts [0xBF] (+12V) Voltage sensor 8 3.20 Volts [0xC8] (VBAT) Temperature sensor 0 39°C (102°F) [0x27] (System) Temperature sensor 1 33°C (91°F) [0x21] (CPU) Fan sensor 0 1018 RPM [0x297] (FANIN0) Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 hardware monitor Temperature sensor 0 50°C (121°F) [0x32] (Core #0) Temperature sensor 1 50°C (121°F) [0x32] (Core #1) Radeon X1950 Pro hardware monitor Temperature sensor 0 44°C (111°F) [0x2C] (GPU Core) Maxtor 6B160M0 hardware monitor Temperature sensor 0 32°C (89°F) [0x20] (HDD)
FEAR6655
Try another card in your system.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 9, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 9, 2009 I would agree with Fear, try a different video if you have one. All voltages are within the spec, so I would not suspect the PSU at this time.
