Dave31
I have 6GB of the XMS3 TR3X6G1600C9 memory. I want my memory to be set at 1066 with the lowest latencies I can get out of them at 1.5V. If I set the memory timings and frequency to auto in my BIOS of my Gigabyte EX58-UD4P motherboard it will set my memory to 1066MHz with 8-8-8-20-1T timings. I noticed that most DDR3 1066 memory comes with 7-7-7-20 timings from various brands but I have never seen DDR3 1066 memory come with the slower 8-8-8-20 timings. The company's description of my memory doesn't say what timings are for 1066 for this memory, only tells me what they are for 1333 and 1600MHz. Will my memory handle 7-7-7-20-1T timings at 1.5V at 1066 or should I just keep the timings auto?
Wired
It could, but there's no guarantees, as they don't test them at speed / timings.
