GearJunkie
I just bought a set of TR3X6G1600C7 G for my new rig. The XMP sets a dangerously high (1.38V) QPI/DRAM Core Voltage. Is this the correct setting for the XMP for this set of memory, or was it set incorrectly on the set that I bought?
GearJunkie
Does anyone have a response? I'm worried that if I use the built in XMP, it will fry the CPU. Thank you.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted July 6, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted July 6, 2009 The built in XMP Profile 1 seems to be right and should not cause any damage to your CPU. We have tested it ourselves at those XMP setting to work to give you the best results with the memory modules you purchased. =)
