LegolasX2
I just replaced my 1600mhz 12gb kit of another major name brand memory co. which I bought for $200. Like Mom always said , "If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is." I can only get the 7-8-7-20-2 at 1853mhz. My BCLK is 155 and CPU ratio is 26 giving me a 4ghz CPU. If I set the DRAM timings to "Auto" it will go to 9-9-9-24-7. The voltage set to "Auto" will max at 1.9v and that scares me. This setting of 7-8-7-20-2 at 1853mhz, BCLK at 155 and CPU ratio of 26 seems to be the fastest. I can set my CPU/BCLK down and get nearly 2000mhz from the memory but it seems less responsive. Am I on the right track here?

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 30, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 30, 2009 One set will run at the tested settings but if you try to use two sets you would likely have to run them at DDR1333 or DDR1600. If you want 12 Gig I would suggest using HX3X12G1600C9 instead.
