8GB memory issues on GA-X48T-DQ6

I've tried over the past few months to get my system to run with 8GB of memory instead of 4GB..

 

I was completely stable with 4, and I seem to be Memtest and Prime stable with 8 as well.. At least I haven't had a crash while running those..

 

Problem is I crash a few times a week.. PC simply stops in its tracks and locks up. No errors, no bluescreen no nothing.

 

I've been trying to work it out with the guys on the Gigabyte support forum, but none that they have advised has helped. And yes, I'm stable again if I plug out the new modules, and the new modules have been memtest tested alone in the board as well..

 

I'm running latest stable bios.. No beta stuff..

 

I've tried slacking the timings, both primary ones and secondary ones.. I've tried setting command rate to 2T.. I've tried adding cpu voltage, ram voltage, gmch voltage, fsb voltage.. I've disabled all the "performance adding/enhancing" features on my board..

 

Basically I'd like someone with a stable GA-X48T-DQ6 with 8GB of my memory (4*2gb XMS3 1600C9DHX) to hand me their settings, as there were none posting on the Gigabyte forums..

 

If those don't work, it has to be software related somehow..
