skinlab
just got a gig of these, but i have a question if anyone could possibly answer it rev.1 of this memory had 4ns ram (whether black or platinum heatspreaders), the ones i got are rev.2.1, do they still carry the same chips? if so, what changes were made to warrant a change in revision number? if not, what kind of chips were used in rev. 2.1? thanks. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 23, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 23, 2004 Hynix IC's rate their IC's by speed, so a D43 would be 433 Mhz and D5 would be 500 Mhz. We are currantly use Sansung Rev F -5 with this module Rev 2.1, and Hynix D5 Rev C for XMS4400.
