jim1951
Hi I'm new to this forum and I am seeking an answer to a problem I have with using 8mb of Dominator XMS2-8500CDF 1066MHz. The first set of 2 modules are version 2.1 and the second pair is version 2.2. I cannot run all four together, is the problem with the version or could be the bios? My board is an Abit IP35 pro ex. In addition, with some MB's (Mostly ASUS) you have to disable legacy USB in the bios when running any memory test. the memory controller cant handle 4 sticks that have NOT been tested together at full speed. you will have to drop the frequency and up a few voltages. the version mismatch may prevent stability, heep that in mind.
