If the following feature of HX power supply is so much better?

Utilizing superior triple +12V power rails

What are advantages of triple power rails?

Is it better to buy more powerful TX-type power supply or HX with a less power?

 

What are differences of VX & TX power supplies - I did not manage to ascertain?

Here is a link that should explain why the HX520 and HX620 actually have a single 12v rail:

The VX and TX are both fixed cable PSUs the main difference is that the TX is higher wattage (higher than 600w) and the VX is lower wattage (below 600w).

 

The only PSU we make that does not use a single 12v rail is our HX1000 which has 2x 12v rails.
