Theonly1
Hi, I have 2 modules CM2X1024-6400 (no dual channel) with the default settings (5-5-5-18-2T@1.8V), give error once on three with memtest (2.11). The error is in the same position for each test and for each module, multiplied by 3 pc used for testing. Modules are damaged or not? Rma is necessary? Theonly1
No errors @ 1.9V but voltage should be 1.8V(see below)? The module version is 5.1 (Promos) and 4.1 (Quimonda). http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/3339/spd1.png
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 12, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 12, 2009 Go by what is printed on the modules and you can use up to 2.1 Volts on our DDR2 modules , and random errors like what you reported would suggest it is some other issue so adding a bit more voltage may solve the issue and it did just run with them at 1.9 Volts and you should be good to go.
