Wired
Is this the C700 Custom Order laptop, or a variation of the C700 (e.g. C700EM, C700ET, C700LA, C700T, C700XX? What is the exact part # of the memory you purchased? Are you mixing this memory with the memory that originally came with the laptop?

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 5, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 5, 2009 Please try the following instructions, in order to get your system to recognize the new memory: 1. Remove all RAM 2. Power on system 3. Let it run for 20-30 seconds (system may power off prior to 20secs) 4. Remove battery and AC (to insure power is off) 5. Only install the Corsair RAM 6. Check if system is stable If you still have problems I would test each module one at a time and make sure you do not have a single module that may be causing the problems. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 5, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 5, 2009 From the specs I could find for this system they state that it will only accept up to 3GB of memory. You may want to see if there are any BIOS updates that might improve compatibility, otherwise you may want to exchange the 4GB kit for a single 2GB module and see if it will work with one of the original memory modules.
