jprusel
I have an ASUS RAMPAGE FORMULA w/ (2x) TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX and I'm having major problems with two of the sticks. I'm running the latest BIOS (0902), for this motherboard and I've manually set the settings in the BIOS for these modules to: Freq = DDR2800 DRAM Voltage = 2.10 Timings = 4-4-4-12 What am I doing wrong here? When all for modules are installed I can't get past the LCD poster for the board stating "DET DRAM". The only way that I can even get into the BIOS is to remove the two modules that are seated in CHANNEL B for the motherboard. Please help.
jprusel
I know this post is after hours but, I'm entitled to my one bump per 24 hours, right? After my initial post, I decided to test the two modules in question with Memtest86+ 2.11. Each module was tested individually. The first module had two passes with no errors detected. The second module wouldn't even let the pc boot up. I've even cleared the BIOS and the LCD poster for the board still displays "DET DRAM".
