hexland
My trusty Flash Voyager 1100 (8Gb) is now only showing 4Gb when I try to use it now. I don't know what I did (I was dicking around trying to make it a boot device for FreeNAS) but at some point during the process, it has lost 4Gb of it's size. I've tried reformatting in Windows, and I also tried using the G-Parted boot disk and modifying the size through that. Even the HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool only show's 4Gb. I'm not sure what else to try now. Any ideas how to recover the lost space? Thanks Dave
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 2, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 2, 2009 Please try and format the drive with the Format utility from the SD-CARD Organization. Then run the test again and see if that helps.
hexland
Unfortunately, the SD-Formatter only sees 3.86Gb. I tried monkeying around with the options and different formatting, but it won't see the additional storage.
