dave10101
hi i just recently built a new system with TW3X4G1333C9 i had a problem with one of the sticks, so i returned it to the store and got a new one, didn't take back the 2nd one. but when i received it the 2nd stick says 1.5v, where as the first is 1.6v.. i was wondering what is the standard voltage meant to be for that model of ram ??.. the model numbers and version are exactly the same.. so i was surprised to even see that the voltage numbers are different. Wired
Return BOTH and get BOTH replaced. No one can guarantee their compatibility when they haven't been tested together.
dave10101
ok thankyou for the quick reply i shall do just that :) but is it normal for the voltage to be different on the same models ? also i tried the 1.5v stick by itself and the comp kept freezing but the 1.6 v is just fine... that's why i was curious as to the standard voltage for it.
