lectrocrew
I'm having a problem getting this memtest86 to (1) unzip, (2) save to floppy. Is it compatible with my x64 PC?
Wired
Memtest runs outside of the OS by booting from a floppy, CD, USB stick, so OS compatibility is irrelevant. All hardware compatibility information is listed on their website, but in short, it's compatible with every computer.
lectrocrew
I can't get the file to unzip with winzip in order to run it. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong, (and it's likely just my ignorance here. :sigh!:) Thanks for the help!!!
Wired
Got a link to the file in question? Maybe it's not a zip file?

Wired
Well that zip file is on a completely different site than the first link you posted, which is the correct one to use, Memtest86+ v2.11. Here's a direct link to the floppy version of that: Download - Pre-Compiled package for Floppy (DOS - Win) Also, not being able to format the floppy has nothing to do with the Memtest. Bad floppy perhaps?
