Yurimaster
http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=100676403 explanation ^ of the situation I'm not going to make any conclusions yet but two cards have die off the same 12v rail, in this case is 12v1 which are the module cables that are plug on to my 2nd video card. I'm wondering if is even possible that the psu can kill a video card and has there been any cases of it? The one upper card is fine and is plug of 12v2 from the none module cables. Next week I should receive my replacement gtx280 and I will try swapping cables which means swapping 12v rails. Btw each cards runs on one 12v and I don't mix rails on single card. I will find out later and I doubt is the board.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 19, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 19, 2009 What does the 12 Volts rail read in the BIOS?
Yurimaster
The 12v rails reads 11.98v in the bios. This is with one gtx280 plug in 12v1. Before with two 280's one card will be in 12v1 and other card hanging of 12v2 which is the same rail use for molex and my SATA HD's.
