callthepress
I just ordered a new Corsair TX750 from Tigerdirect and realized something I may have a problem with... My current Motherboard ( MSI K8N Neo4/SLI ) has a 4-pin connector for the CPU power and the power supply I ordered doesn't actually have a 4-pin connector, but instead an 8-pin. Can I just plug in half of the connector into the 4-pin connector and it still work? or do I have to buy some adapter for the 8-pin to make it a 4-pin? Thanks in advance! Wired
The 8 pin connection splits in two for just that reason. That's why it's called a EPS/ATX12V 8-4 pin connector.
