HX1000 Ticking Fan

I sent my PS back for RMA and just got an email back from Corsair:


We wanted to let you know that we have received your return package for RMA number xxxxxxx Your returned product is staged for review by our returns department, and we will be contacting you shortly regarding repair or replacement. Please note we are currently experiencing delays with warranty replacement shipments, please allow for an additional 5 business days for processing.

Is this normal?? I was hoping for only a two week down time but now who knows!! :( Maybe I just should have sent it back to Newegg it was only a month old.


Hoping to get a new PS with a fan that stays quite much longer.
