thomasgo
Currently, I have been using 2 TWIN2X2048-8500C5D modules yielding 4GB. Today I upgraded to an AMD Phenom II 955 Black Edition processor and was interested in upgrading my memory to 8GB. When referencing the documentation on the website and forums, I noticed the 8GB set Q2X8G6400C4DHX. I was originally planning to use 2 TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF sticks or 2 TW2X4G6400C4PRO sticks. What is the best choice for me? Thanks, Tom
Wired
Q2X8G6400C4DHX, as it's guaranteed to run as it's sold. However, this doesn't preclude the limitations of the memory controller, only eliminates memory incompatibility from the equation.
