BugButcher
Just purchased a TX650W. Put unit into case, does not spin up or make any noise. Removed from case, does not work. Thoughts?
Wired
Try the paperclip test listed above in one of the stickies. What motherboard are you using this with? Is it proprietary?
BugButcher
Thanks for paper clip idea! Paper clip test works. So the PSU is good. Motherboard is: Gigabyte GA-MA78GPM-UD2H. Am I missing something simple? Thanks for the help.
Wired
Did you plug in both power cables into the motherboard? I'm assuming you had the PSU power switch to on (if it has one) and hit the power button on the case of course.
BugButcher
Issue resolved. Apparently, there was a short in the way I mounted the motherboard. Took motherboard out, reseated everything VERY carefully...voila...works like a champ. Thanks for taking the time to review my case! Appreciate the help.
