tmaugham
My configuration: Asus M4a78 Pro, AMD Athlon X2 64 2700mhz, Corsair cm2x2048-6400c5 (2 2gb sticks), XP Pro 64 SP2 My questions: 1. This is 800mhz memory but cpu-z says it is 400mhz, why the difference? 2. I had originally set the DRAM frequency to 800mhz but I was getting some BSODs so I reduced the DRAM frequency to 667 mhz but cpu-z reports that the DRAM frequency is only 301.4 mhz, why the difference? Thanks very much... Tom
Wired
1. DDR2-800 IS 400 Mhz. That's why it's called DOUBLE Data Rate (DDR). 2. AMD CPUs sometimes have odd divisors, which may be the reaon you see that.
