zacson
I am getting frequent BSOD, application crashes while using 2 x 2GB of CM2X2048-6400C5 (Kit of TWIN2X4096-6400C5 G on my ASUS M3N78-EM mobo. Have increased the DRAM voltage to 2.0v, still no luck. Memtest passes. Have found that using the once stick of 2 GB works with out any freezes where as the other one gives BSOD, hence that looks like a defective piece. Have also tried Windows 7, and tried configuring at different slots and the problem is still repeating. I live in India and bought this from US. Please let me know the procedure for RMA. zacson
Thanks RAM guy for your quick response. As mentioned I have filled the RMA request form and have recieved an email stating that they will respond in 24 hrs. Now it is 3 days since I have raised the request and have not recieved any response. Appreciate if you could let me know the process. Also how long will it take to get the new sticks, do I have to first send the bad sticks. Again should I send both the sticks or just the defective one ? Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted May 15, 2009 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 15, 2009 If you purchased them as a kit and they came in one package then you will want to get them replaced as a kit. So yes send them both.
