JOCKTHEGLIDE
Awhile back when I did a search for rampage extreme ram their were 3 choices a 1600, 1888, then 2000mhz ram, but now there is only 1 type that fits the rampage extreme. I would like to get the 2000mhz ones , but dont rmember the name of them?
Wired
Guaranteed-Compatible Memory for your Asus Rampage Extreme Don't recall ever seeing a 2 stick pack of 2000 Mhz memory. You could always get a triple channel pack of said memory and only use 2 sticks.
Yellowbeard
Some of the higher speed grades in TwinX kits have been discontinued as the ICs to make them have been discontinued. However, with AMD going to DDR3 and with TwinX kits, I would expect some fast and/or low latency TwinX kits to be back on the list soon. This may also apply to Core i5 kits when that launches. 6t3
Any new words about offering memory faster than 1600 MHz for the Rampage Extreme?
Wired
Yep, check the GT and Core i5 areas of the website. Highest is a 2000 MHz kit.
