Wired
Always have to find out about this stuff from a review site. Send me an email guys! lol Note: It seems there's no part pages up for these just yet, so the links are to the Corsair store which contains some information on them. CWCDHX - Corsair Cooling Hydro H30 water cooling block for Dominator GT CWCDHXTEC - Corsair Cooling Ice T30 sub-ambient cooling subsystem for Dominator GT Cooling Ice T30 review by DriverHeaven Here's my question: These will also work on the non-GT Dominators, e.g. the TR3X6G1600C8D, correct? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 11, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 11, 2009 Always have to find out about this stuff from a review site. Send me an email guys! lol Here's my question: These will also work on the non-GT Dominators, e.g. the TR3X6G1600C8D, correct? I just realized these were being listed in our online store last Friday, but I would expect some documentation available once the parts are available for sale. Currently they are listed but "out of stock." The waterblocks will be compatible with any of our DHX2 memory modules which have the removable fins, so at this point, our DDR3 triple channel dominator parts should all be compatible. Jeff3604
Do we know where everything stands in regard to the H30 recall? I bought one immediately, began using it immediately, and got an email the next day to stop. Apparently, there's a leak issue. Can anyone elaborate? How close are we to a solution? Thanks, Jeff
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 29, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 29, 2009 From what I understand the unit was slightly redesigned to have a more robust connection between the hose barbs and the body of the unit itself, and the first version of these units were sold before they could be updated. If you received an email regarding the issue then we would like to replace the unit for you to prevent any possible problems in the future, sorry for the inconvenience! If you have any questions regarding the replacement please contact our customer service at 888-222-4346 and dial "0", (510) 657-8747 or email rmaservice@corsairmemory.com. I purchased an H30, installed it, leak tested for 24 hrs. Because my rig serves as a server as well; I restarted my my FTP & left for work. Upon my return 4 hrs. later; I found my rig shut down and soaking wet with fluid. I contacted Corsair via email & I have not heard back, that was a week ago. The killing part is I get an email stating don't use the H30, of course it arrived while I was @ work. My entire rig is now dead because of a massive leak from the base of the hose barb. As I am a Lawyer; I'll be contacting the Michigan State Attorney Generals Office in the next few days if I don't get a response.

Roomraider
Roomraider, please resend the email and copy it to ramguy@corsairmemory.com. Please include your contact information and a link to this thread and I will try to have someone contact you ASAP! After finally making phone contact with a Corsair representative; I was completely satisfied with their effort to make things right. I won't go into details but it was a speedy resolution that I'm totally satisfied with. I've built tons of PC's over the last 8 years using Corsair memory exclusively, & never have I had a problem that wasn’t resolved. I jumped the gun on this one; I was totally out of line; I hope you & the kind folks @ Corsair that helped resolve this matter will accept my sincere apology & understand that I was under a great deal of stress after finding my personal, prized rig in the condition it was in. Thank you in advance

Wired
Tech support generally isn't involved in that. You'd have to contact Customer Care.
Jeff3604
So, now that I have my H30 back, I'm curious as to what temps people are getting. I have not seen the dramatic drop in temps I was looking for, as my memory before and after the waterblock hold around 125F. Anyone having different outcomes? MUGEN
Any ETA on when the H30 will be back in stock? The dominator gt fans are the loudest fans on my pc and I have it hooked up to a fan controller set to the lowest setting.

Or, put another way, how loud are the OTHER fans in your PC?

I have 4 110cfm fans set on low.
