qqaa
I bought a 4gb kit from zipzoomfly. I was running linux and after a couple of hours, I saw kernel panic. And I have to power off to restart, couldn't POST, with both sticks, the BIOS beep sound was one long with a short silence then long beep again continuously. After remove one stick, my system can boot again. I have just bought the kit, I don't know I should RMA with zipzoomfly or Corsair directly. I assume if I do RMA with Corsair, I will pay one way shipping. If I RMA with zipzoomfly, do they pay for all the shipping fee? Shipping from zipzoomfly to me is very slow, it took 7 days. So if I RMA with them, it will take half a month. Also, do I return both sticks or just one?
qqaa
Now I know zipzoomfly does not pay for shipping the item back to them. My question is, can I directly RMA with Corsair? Does zipzoomfly actually transfer the cost of RMA to Corsair? If this is the case, I guess Corsair will not object I do RMA with them.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 11, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 11, 2009 I am sorry but I cannot tell you what any reseller will or will not do with an RMA and I would suggest asking them to be sure the information is 100% accurate. However, you are welcome to do the RMA directly with us. Let's get them replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace them.
