echidna_nz
I didn't supply my system specs at registration because I'm doing an upgrade and would like advice on compatibility please. I've never O/C'd anything and I don't intend to do so but would like the memory to run at the specified speed. CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 810 Motherboard: ASUS M4A78T-E Memory: 2GB TWIN3X2048-1333C9DHX Is the TWIN3X2048-1333C9DHX module really compatible with ASUS M4A78T-E? If so why does the memory configuration page here: http://corsair.com/configurator/product_results.aspx?id=867651 NOT list the TWIN3X2048-1333C9DHX 2GB memory module when it’s listed in the ASUS M4A78T-E motherboard’s QVL manual? And after searching the forums it looks at though if all settings are set to Auto on the M4A78T-E, ram set to 1333, vdimm reads 1.92? Does this mean I’d have to set the voltage manually? And is this correct? Your help would be much appreciated thanks. Cheers, Simon
echidna_nz
Anyone? I've purchased TW3X2G1600C9DHX 2x1GB XMS3 DHX CL9 now since no one replies and I expect some support from Corsair if I have trouble if I leave the Bios setting to Auto and this isn't stable at 1600. Regards, Simon.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 13, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 13, 2009 You will more than likely have to run the memory at DDR1333 till the BIOS matures a bit more or set the memory at DDR1333 and over clock the CPU to get more out of the memory. Wired
TWIN3X2048-1333C9 is listed, so the TWIN3X2048-1333C9DHX is compatible.
