TurtleSpeed
Hi all, I've recently bought this RAM-kit, but I'm having problems booting with this kit... The thing is, one of the modules works just fine alone, while the other doesn't... When installing both modules, the system won't boot... The working module will even boot along with my old Corsair XMS2 2x1 GB 6400 C4 kit, although the total amount of memory only reaches 3072 MB in the BIOS count??? Motherboard is upgraded to the latest BIOS version 6.38 I've tried moving the non-working module between all the different slots, but it still won't boot... I've also tested this on an ASUS P5E-VM DO with an Core2 Duo E4700 processor, but I encountered the same problem - only one of the modules will boot... So I guess it would be safe to assume, that one of the modules is defective?
