cheungtsw
My HX1000 should spin at max speed when I first boot up the PC or if I just restart my PC (either hit the reset button or reset via winxp) and then slows down when entering in the winxp. Is the speed of the fan governs by temp and current draw ? Thanks.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 7, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 7, 2009 The fan is internally controlled based on the current loading on the PSU.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 8, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 8, 2009 and I assume temp. as well ? Temperature is also taken into account for the fan speed. Generally higher load = higher temperatures which lead to a faster fan.
