rmnpostalli
Hello guys, I know there are lot of post like that all over the internet but this is my first one cuz i haven´t found a conclusion yet.:(: I´m afraid of having some problems with these 2 pieces. I boughted the motherboard couple month ago, and then had the idea of buying these memories which i thought would be a great memory on my pc, but it started freezing and showing that famous blue sceen, so i looked up in every foruM and website about it and haven´t found any answer that matterS yet. I´ve just reared that´s not 100% compatible...so is it true?? If there´s a way to make it works, could someone tell me how to configure it in the BIOS (i guess) or something....I already have updated everything that is needed and so on. I just don´t know what exacly i have to put on the BIOS... TAnks THANKS AGAIN Ramon
Wired
Are you using 2 or 3 sticks? They are compatible, but it's odd to get a triple pack for a dual channel system unless you're planning on not using one stick and are going to upgrade to a triple channel motherboard / CPU in the future. This is a 6gb memory. so it´s 3x2 modules. In CPU-Z, that´s what it shows....would you know if it´s right or not??? IF it isn´t, i´d like to know what i need to change in BIOS.... http://www.asktheramguy.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=5567http://www.asktheramguy.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=5568 http://www.asktheramguy.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=5569 Thanks.... Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 8, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 8, 2009 With that MB and CPU you will need to run just two modules and at DDR1333 and just leave the timings at AUTO and set the memory Voltage to 1.7 Volts
