tx750 fan speed problem

I just built a system with everything new three weeks ago, and i use a tx750 for it.

Just yesterday while surfing the web in the morning, my PSU fan suddenly started spinning at max speed, and making a loud LOUD noise. I wasn't doing anything intensive that requires a lot of power. Even before while gaming the fan speed never changed.

Also! the fan itself isn't making a lot of noise, i took the fan off and held it in the air and there's minimal noise comming out of it. But it spins crazy fast.

I don't get why it SUDDENLY changed the speed. I was thinking it may be my BIOS settings but I already reset it and powered on and the fan speed's still fast.

So is there anyway to change the fan speed? i need solutions before i go deaf!!

Unfortunately there is no way to adjust the fan speed as it is controlled internally within the unit. I would see if you can get the fan to give you the same behavior either when idling in the BIOS, or if you boot the system up into safe mode. If the noise is easily duplicated and its loud enough to be bothersome, then lets try getting it replaced!

Please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”

I have same problem.

My system wasn't running intensive that requires a lot of power(Games, Video convert etc...) but fan suddenly started running Max speed and

never goes down. After reboot it will start normal speed then 15 minutes later speed back to Max..

My PSU run fine last week and it suddenly happend this week.

I used one full bottle of Air dust can but it didn't help solve problem.

Can I use Online RMA form ?

Thanks

Shawn
