Starfighter
Hi, I just bought a 400CX. I noticed that on the box it came in it advertistes that the +5V output rating at max load is 30A. However I was disappointed to see that the label on the actual power supply says it is 20A. What gives? A typo? (I'm using this power supply on an older 1.4 Ghz AMD Thunderbird CPU that loves the 5 volt rail)
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted May 5, 2009 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 5, 2009 I will have to see if I can double check the box for the CX400, but it looks like it is correct on our website.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted May 5, 2009 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 5, 2009 Just found out that there was a typo on some of the boxes, however its since been resolved. Sorry for the confusion!
Starfighter
Thanks RamGuy for your reply. Bummer about the misprint. However, I realize people are human and mistakes can happen. At least Corsair has the honesty to admit it, rather than giving me (and others) the royal run-around, as some lesser companies may have done under similar circumstances!
