wongraph
Hi, I purchased a 1GB SODIMM back on February 28th, 2009 from NCIX in Canada. I pre-registered and received a tracking #, however, that number is only recognized by the website http://corsairmemory.rebatestatus.com and not the one I see more commonly referred to http://corsairmemory.status-now.com Now it's been 8 weeks since I mailed the documentation and still the rebatestatus website says the documentation hasn't arrived yet. My rebate form also provided an address in Welland, Ontario to mail the material. When I call the phone number provided, the person in the Corsair rebate department recommended that I resend a copy of my receipt, but this time to their Arizona address. I'm going to do this, but I'm curious if anyone (particularly in Canada) has been successful (or not) getting their rebate after sending their documentation to the Canadian address. <sigh> I haven't failed to receive a rebate before but I certainly hope my luck hasn't run out on this one. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 2, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 2, 2009 I am sorry about that but we really have nothing to do with rebates in tech support, you can call our customer service on Monday at 888-222-4346 or 510-657-8747 Ext 3 or send them an email and ask if there is anything they can do at rmaservice@corsairmemory.com

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 13, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 13, 2009 The names are blocked for a few reasons but mostly there is no reason to discuss other manufacturers here and previously most of the module makers like the one you mentioned had no forum support and their customers would come here trying to get help is the main reason. Ok so you don't censor but you do,laughable you see those corsair items that I have,no more. The upgrades for our company not going to happen I wouldn't take your items if they were given to us for free. All the responses so far have been extremely bizarre to put it mildly, anyways have a nice day.
Wired
To clarify, I didn't mean that there's no censorship here, I meant that censorship on the forum isn't a constitutional infringement. In any case, the reasons for censorship here were explained in the rules you were redirected to (which are also linked to in the Notices area above each page), as well as summarized by Ram Guy in this very thread. Back on track: Regarding your rebate, did you ever contact Corsair like Ram Guy suggested to the original poster?
