Diadochi
Hi! I have the 620HX PSU and an Antec 1200 Case. My question is the fans are are 4 pin connectors and it seems they are stackable. So can i stack 3 or 4 of them together and connect them to one of my 4 pin PSU connectors? Or does each one need a separate connection? Thanx! Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 1, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 1, 2009 You should be able to daisy chain a few fans together with no problems, but if you are attaching more than 2 or 3 together then I would probably leave off any hard drives or other peripherals and dedicate the cable to fans only. Diadochi
Another question. Is it ok for me to use a 500W AVR for the 620HX? Or should i get another AVR with a higher wattage? Thanx
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted May 5, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 5, 2009 The PSU will only provide as much power as the system requires, so the wattage that you would need would depend on the loading on the system when the UPS switches to battery backup. In most cases 500w should be fine, but depending on your hardware configuration and how you are using the system at that time, you could be using more power than what the backup can provide.
