neosporin
This regards case# 921958. I received a RMA PSU today with the same problem as the one I originally sent in. The puzzling thing is that you guys sent me a brand new one and it has the same problem. Do I fill out another RMA? Will I be reimbursed for having to send it back yet again? Its going to suck not having my pc for this long. :sigh!:
Wired
What's the issue? It's highly doubtful both have the same issue, so it's more probable that the issue isn't resulting from the PSU.

As Wired noted, it is very unlikely you got 2 bad PSUs in a row.
neosporin
Its not a problem with my side. The RMA I recieved was initially tested at another address with no PC attached. If you're curious on the exact problem, I wrote about it on http://www.jonnyguru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5520. It should not make any sound at all if the switch on the back of the PSU is turned off. This imples that its a common quality control or design problem.
