Chiller
i have a Evga X58 Classified motherboard and the highest that the memory would work is 1333Mhz on timiongs 9-9-9-24 1.65v. (corsair domianator 1866 mhz 9-9-9-24 3x1gb triple channel) I have the latest bios, i7 965 ES. The moment i set XMP in bios, overclock failed, set memory @ 1866Mhz, overclock failed, maybe compatibility problems ???
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 27, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 27, 2009 Do you have the latest BIOS for the MB? If not please try that and load setup defaults and then enable XMP and test the system with http://www.memtest.org.

Chiller
they where still in the carbage can, just get it out and put it in the box in the closet. Maybe first testing on different setup. But find it strange that the dominator GT's 2000Mhz 7-8-7-20 are working fine?
