STEVEBILLS Posted April 24, 2009 Share Posted April 24, 2009 I have a asus p5n32-e sli plus motherboard and i have recased it in a cooler master cosmos and no i have a problem with my corsair ddr2 1024 -6400 g memory as the first 2 work fine in bank 1 and 2 but when i put in 3 and 4 into the slots the pc wont boot and i get no video signal and i think its a memory setting in the bios and any help is appriciated thanks:confused: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Restart. Enter the BIOS and set to these values: Set to these values: AI Tuning = Manual Nvidia GPU Ex = Disabled LinkBoost = Disabled Extreme Tweaker Screen FSB & Memory Config FSB - Memory Clock Mode = Unlinked FSB (QDR), MHz = 333 (1333) MEM (DDR), MHz = 333 (667) CPU Configuration CPU Multi = Auto CPU Internal Thermal Control = Enabled Limit CPUID MaxVal = Disabled Enhanced C1 (C1E) = Disabled Execute Disable Bit = Enabled Virtualization Technology = Enabled Enhance Intel Speedstep Tech = Disabled Chipset Memory Timing Setting tCL = 5 tRCD = 5 tRP = 5 tRAS = 15 Command Per Clock = 2 clocks Advanced Memory Settings tRRD = Auto tRC = Auto tWR = Auto tWTR = Auto tREF = Auto tRD = Auto tRFC = 60 Async Latency = Auto Voltages Vcore = Auto Vdimm (DRAM Voltage) = 1.9v 1.2v HT = 1.2v NB Vcore = 1.30v SB Vcore = Autov CPU VTT = AutoShut the system down. Boot to the Memtest CD with that single stick and allow for two full passes. Shut the system down. Remove the first stick and insert it in slot two. Repeat memtest. Shut the system down. Remove the first stick and insert it into slot three and repeat memtest. Do the same for the last slot. You have now tested one stick and all four slots. Shut the system down and insert the second stick in slot one. Retest. Shut the system down and remove the second stick and insert the third stick in slot one. Repeat Memtest. Do the same with the last stick. You have now tested all four sticks in single channel mode. Now test for the Dual Channel Mode function of the memory controller. Insert a stick in slot one and three and memtest. Remove the set and insert the second set in slot two and four and memtest. Finally, insert a stick in slot one and slot three, a stick in slot two and slot four and repeat Memtest. If Stable enter Windows and post screenshots of CPU-z's CPU, Memory and SPD tabs. If Stable enter Windows and post screenshots of CPU-z's CPU, Memory and SPD tabs. If the latter what is the version # of each pair? no the memory came with the pc from http://www.wired2fire.co.uk website and all i did was recase into a cooler master cosmos because it was running hot and they pc would not boot in the cosmos and was working fine till then.:[pouts: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 27, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 27, 2009 With 4 modules I would suggest setting the memory frequency at DDR667 and set the memory Voltage to 2.1 Volts and set the NB/MCH/SPP Voltage to +.2 Volts as well and test the system with http://www.memtest.org.
