VatO_LokO
Hi, I have the Asus Striker Extreme (NVidia 680i SLI Chipset).Today I bought a pair of Corsair's CM2X2048-8500C5D at 1066MHz. But they are not proberly recognized, not in the BIOS & not under CPU-Z. On the POST screen they are displayed as 800MHz & CPU-Z sees them as 400MHz (it should state 533MHz, correct?).Are 1066MHz memories compatible with this board? Is there something I have to do to get thme working at 1066?I used to have a pair of CM2X1024-6400C4DHX (800MHz) for 2 years & they worked just fine. Hey man,you really heleped me out here!I did exactly what you said and IT WORKED! Check out the screenshots of CPU-Z. The tRas timing runs at 18 even though I set it on 15 as you suggested, but I think thats OK. After 24 hours, the system is stable as before. Thanks a lot mate. Will post again if I have any news. Thanks again!
