RVDsabu
Hi I have an asus p5n-e sli board with the latest bios installed. I recently purchased a 4gb ram upgrade pack. the TWIN2x4096-6400c5 G set. When i installed it using the auto settings, the bios screen will boot and show 4096mb of ram installed but that is as far as it gets. It locks up EVERY TIME. Is this ram compatible? Am i going to have to return it for a refund ? I'm stuck.....please heeeeeeeeeeelp! thanks

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 21, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 21, 2009 Please just install the new modules in the correct slots for D/C then go to BIOS setup and load setup defaults and then exit the BIOS saving changes and run http://www.memtest.org and with the MB you have listed you will need to disable legacy USB when running http://www.memtest.org.
