Upgrade Question

Hi Ram Guy! - Couple of questions, if I may.. Recently, I built my own box with a Gigabyte GA-K8VNXP & was sold TWINX1024- 3200LLPT. But, now I find out that the reccommended memory is TWINX1024- 3200C2. Is this a big difference? My system is currently stable. Secondly, I would like to upgrade with my machine with another 1 Gig with one slot left. Is CMX1024-3200 pro the correct choice? Wasn't sure as they have diff latency settings. Newbie here. Thanks in advance.... D.P.L. ------------------- Gigabyte GA-K8VNXP TWINX1024-3200LLPT AMD64 Windows XP

Yes and No! Respectively: These modules should not be a problem with this system. Just get the latest bios and set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts. And No you would not be able to mix speed grades. I would suggest that you stay with what you have. In addition, if you add another module you may be forced to run at DDR333.
