internutboy
Hi Ram Guy! - Couple of questions, if I may.. Recently, I built my own box with a Gigabyte GA-K8VNXP & was sold TWINX1024- 3200LLPT. But, now I find out that the reccommended memory is TWINX1024- 3200C2. Is this a big difference? My system is currently stable. Secondly, I would like to upgrade with my machine with another 1 Gig with one slot left. Is CMX1024-3200 pro the correct choice? Wasn't sure as they have diff latency settings. Newbie here. Thanks in advance.... Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted April 19, 2004 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 19, 2004 Yes and No! Respectively: These modules should not be a problem with this system. Just get the latest bios and set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts. And No you would not be able to mix speed grades. I would suggest that you stay with what you have. In addition, if you add another module you may be forced to run at DDR333.
